The fuel level sensor is mounted on the top of the fuel tank to detect the fuel level inside the tank, providing both a mechanical pointer display and an analog voltage signal.

As the fuel level changes, the float rises or falls accordingly, transmitting the movement to the pointer through a lever mechanism, which outputs a mechanical pointer indication proportional to the fuel level. Additionally, the movement of the linkage mechanism is also transmitted to the position sensor, which outputs an analog voltage signal of 0.5-4.5V. This voltage signal is proportional to the fuel level.

The base fuel tank level sensor is primarily used to monitor the fuel level in side the fuel tank, providing accurate fuel level information to equipment such as diesel silent generator sets through mechanical pointer and voltage simulation output, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
